The KSGG700ESS is KitchenAid’s most popular front control range. In this video, you’ll learn the stoves best features and a few problems. We’ll be comparing KitchenAid to their closest competition, Samsung and GE profile.

Best Features

A few years ago, KitchenAid redesigned the look and function of this range. They located the controls on the top for a larger oven size, and this KitchenAid is amongst the largest ovens you can buy. However, by placing the controls on the top, you have less cooktop space. You’ll have plenty for two to three pots, but it’ll get crowded at four and five burners, depending on the size of your cookware.

This range has good basic features with two power burners on the top of 17,000 and 15,000 BTU, along with three burners at 9,000 8,000 and a simmer at 5,000 BTU. The oven is convection and with their AutoConvect conversion button it’s simple to use. Just put your recipe, hit the button and it will convert to convection automatically.

The price varies during the year from $2,100 – $2,400 you can buy their upgrade, which is similar looking, the KSGB900ESS with one more powerful burner at 19,000 instead of 17,000 BTU along with a baking draw instead of storage at the bottom of the range. So this range is solid as part of a popular package with a counter-depth refrigerator, dishwasher and over the range microwave.
